The Collaborative Invites You to Join the STEM Ecosystem

The Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem is one of ninety-four national and international STEM Ecosystems, supported by the STEM Funders Network and based on a collective impact model. It encompasses the rich environment of STEM programming, education, and opportunities throughout Philadelphia. By increasing collaboration, identifying gaps in resources, and enhancing the quality of STEM education, the Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem promotes just and equitable access to STEM opportunities for all children and youth.

The Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative together with Sal Sandone of Zhang Sah Martial Arts chairs the Sports and STEM Workgroup, which explores ways to get kids involved in STEM activities through participation in sports programming. In 2022, the Sports and STEM Workgroup will hold quarterly meetings (January 6, April 22, June 23, and September 22) and we welcome new members to join us. If you are interested, please reach out to Betsy Payne at spayne@philaedfund.org to join the Sports and STEM mailing list.
